Tree Condition Plan and Subsidence Report for a strata property at Worcester Park, KT4 8QG
The large strata site had previous insurance subsidence claims, where vegetation had been implicated as a cause.
To assess trees and vegetation across the site considering:
- 1. Subsidence and
- 2. Prepare a Tree Condition Plan
The strata manager wanted to take a pro-active approach to minimise future property damage from subsidence relating to vegetation on the site.
Along with the arborist subsidence report, they commissioned a Tree Condition Plan. Managers of land on which trees stand have a duty to take reasonable care for the safety of those who may come within the vicinity of a tree.
Trees should be regularly inspected, and action taken to address any obvious defects. Strata managers were aware of the Duty of Care and sought to minimise any bearing to the property, people and insurance premium.
